Alaska Works Partnership has teamed up with Adivo, Alaska's first on-demand handyman app, to give participants the chance to take on short-term, flexible jobs in their communities. This collaboration helps participants gain hands-on experience, earn extra income, and prepare for careers in the trades.
Alaska Apprenticeship Training Coordinators Association
The Alaska Apprenticeship Training Coordinators Association (AATCA) is composed of the Joint Administered Training Committees (JATCs). The JATCs engage in providing quality training for the majority of construction apprentices in Alaska. Additionally, they offer enhancement classes for journeyman craftsmen and Construction Academy courses for men and women to prepare them for applying to an apprenticeship or a career in the trades.

Introduced by Congress in 1998, the Denali Commission is an independent federal agency designed to provide critical utilities, infrastructure, and economic support throughout Alaska. With the creation of the Denali Commission, Congress acknowledged the need for increased inter-agency cooperation and focus on Alaska’s remote communities.
