Alaska Apprenticeship Outreach
The best way to learn a construction trade is through apprenticeship. Apprenticeship combines on-the-job training with formal classroom and hands-on instruction. Apprentices earn while they learn.
Alaska Works can help applicants gain entry into Alaska’s construction trade apprenticeships through our Apprenticeship Outreach program
Apprenticeship Outreach can provide:
- Information on construction trades
- Referral to apprenticeship
- Assistance gathering documents
- Interview skills
- Referral to community resource agencies
- Apprenticeship Preparation
